So many deep observations about the concept of female beauty and its perceived importance to society, and the impact that has on a woman, whether she is conscious of her appearance or not. This is not a particularly long book - I read it in a few hours - but Jessie has packed in so many though-provoking gems of wisdom that I wished I had a physical copy to annotate. I should start by saying that I am not normally a huge fan of Greek mythology.
